The Doe-Re-Mi Lavender Farm is small family owned farm located near the thriving metropolis of Yancey, Texas. The farm is home to about 1500 lavender plants displaying more than twenty varieties. In addition to the lavender there are vegetable and herb gardens, goats and chickens, three honeybee hives, and a huge population of South Texas wildlife and wildflowers. Guests are invited to cut their own lavender, feed the animals, and wander throughout most of the farm as they get a feeling for what is required to create and maintain a farm in the arid South Texas Plains.
